About the Alexander Forbes Community Trust
 
The Alexander Forbes Community Trust (the Trust) was established in 2003 as part of the broad-based black economic empowerment transaction between Alexander Forbes and the Shanduka Group led consortium. The Trust owns 5% of the African operations of Alexander Forbes
 
 
 
 
The primary objective of the Trust is to drive and manage the company’s corporate social investment programme, which is an integral component of our broad based empowerment strategy. It is aligned with our vision to benefit previously disadvantaged communities in the following areas:
